About Us

Play is Essential. Art is Play.

Do you know how many life skills children learn through play? (If not, click here!)

Yes, we want to teach your child how to hold a brush, how to mix colors, and how to use different materials. But we also teach our students how to be comfortable with ambiguity.

In our creative space, we encourage students to ask questions, develop ideas, and try something new.

We believe that kids need nature; they need unstructured time, and they need play.

Our Process Art based classes provide a space & time for open-ended exploration and limitless possibilities.

Process Art is about the making and the doing, rather than the finished product. That doesn't mean you can't have an incredible finished product! It just means that it's not the point.

Our Why

We want to create a community that values authentic connection through creativity.

We believe that everyone has a natural need to create. We have created a safe space where learners can feel safe to explore creatively no matter their amount of art experience.

We believe in the power of teaching the 4 C's of 21st Century skills (Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, and Creativity).

We believe that art can create an incredible opportunity to encourage mindfulness, expand growth mindset and support the learning of our own emotional health. (Meet The Sentimentals.)

We encourage our students to ask questions and STAY CURIOUS. Curiosity primes the mind to learn. Curiosity breeds lifelong learners.

When we learn to listen with curiosity, we learn to listen with empathy.

And empathy is one of the foundational building blocks of great social interaction and connection.
